Simple Steps for Starting Your Business, in partnership with SCORE mentoring, provides aspiring entrepreneurs with practical tools, expert insights, and a step-by-step roadmap to launch a successful venture.
This series of workshops is designed to help you avoid costly mistakes, streamline your startup journey, and build a strong foundation for long-term success. Whether you're in the idea stage or ready to take action, you'll gain essential knowledge on business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and operational best practices.
This second workshop focuses on your business concept and step-by-step guidance in researching your idea, your market, and your competition. At the end of the Business Concept workshop, you are able to identify your target markets, describe your products and services, and collect key competitive information to support your feasibility plan.
You Will Learn:

✅ Creating a feasibility plan – will this business be successful in reaching my goals
✅ Data collection – What to collect, why to collect it and how to use it
✅ How to do Market Research of your industry, competitors and clients in your target market. Where to the find information and how to understand and interpret the data you find.
✅ Learn about your competition. Their products, strengths, weaknesses and ongoing reputation. Then how should you build your own plan
