Event description

Ready to take your business to the international stage but unsure how to navigate foreign markets? This session will delve into the critical importance of securing reliable overseas representation through agents and distributors.

Topics will include understanding the different types of representation, when to use each, and criteria for selecting agents and distributors to grow your international sales. We'll also cover the importance of a sound contractual agreement, ensuring you understand the general provisions necessary for a clear, mutually beneficial partnership.

Presenter Kevin Manninen holds a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) designation through the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE). He has international experience working with small- and medium-sized exporting companies. He lived and taught in Europe for 15 years.
