Event description
Your ideas, brand, and innovations are some of your most valuable business assets, but many entrepreneurs are unsure how to protect them. This session provides a practical overview of intellectual property (IP) and why it matters for small businesses.
Participants will learn the basics of trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets, how each applies to common business activities, and common mistakes that can put a business at risk. Presenters also discuss when IP protection makes sense, when it may not, and how IP fits into your overall business strategy.
This educational session is designed for startups and established business owners who want to better understand how to safeguard their brand, products, and creative work before problems arise.
Featured presenters from Cline Williams will be Harrison Kratochvil and Nathan Heimes. We will have light lunch, but participants can also bring their own lunch.
