Website Readiness for Global Soccer Visitors and Customers
Considerations for International audiences including Payment Processing
An International Soccer event is coming to Kansas City bringing six matches, hundreds of thousands of international visitors, and billions of eyes on our city from June through July 2026. This is the single largest economic and cultural event in Kansas City's history, and small businesses that prepare now will be positioned to capture a once-in-a-lifetime revenue opportunity.
Your website is often the first interaction an international customer has with your business. This class looks at essential website readiness considerations through a global lens. We’ll cover core elements such as mobile responsiveness, navigation clarity, ease of understanding what you offer, and clear ways to do business with you. The session also introduces considerations for international audiences, including payment processing that supports non-U.S. customers and how visitors who don’t speak English may experience your site through browser-based translation tools. Rather than focusing on technical development, this class emphasizes awareness, user experience, and practical checks business owners can review themselves. The goal is to help participants assess whether their website supports trust, clarity, and accessibility for international visitors without requiring a full redesign or advanced technical knowledge.
