Event description

Conflict occurs in our workplace almost daily with clients, coworkers and other stakeholders.

It can cause productivity to suffer, cause emotional stress, employees to leave or possibly worse. Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them. Instructor Daniel McCoy gives employees, business owners, managers and other professionals the tools to understand conflict and improve conflict resolution skills. Discussion includes the five methods of dealing with conflict and six steps to take in the conflict resolution process.

  • Identify common sources of workplace conflict
  • Recognize how conflict impacts individuals and organizations
  • Distinguish between the five methods of dealing with conflict and determine when each approach is most effective
