Event description
Join us for an exclusive networking and educational event designed to uplift and support women in business. In partnership with Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) and the Idaho Women’s Business Center (IWBC), this event will provide meaningful connections and valuable insights from an expert guest speaker.
Topic: Stand Up to Stand Out
Confident Communication That Builds Trust, Presence, and Real Connection
Ever feel stuck wondering what you should share or if your voice even matters in a crowded business world? This interactive keynote helps women leaders stop second guessing themselves and start using what already makes them stand out: their stories, perspective, and lived experience. Through fun, improv based exercises, participants learn how to communicate with confidence, clarity, and presence without sounding scripted or salesy, and leave with practical tools they can use right away in meetings, presentations, and everyday conversations.
Participants will learn how to:
- Quickly organize their thoughts and speak with confidence under pressure
- Use presence, body language, and vocal awareness to increase credibility
- Replace overthinking with practical improv tools that build trust and connection
- Communicate ideas clearly without memorizing scripts or slides
- Show up more authentically in meetings, presentations, and networking conversations
Each takeaway is designed to be simple, repeatable, and usable immediately.
