Join the West Virginia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for the series Money Smart for Small Business. This series provides a practical introduction to starting and managing a business that is ideal for both aspiring and established entrepreneurs. The series was developed jointly by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FIDC) and the SBA. Each virtual session comes with a practical workbook guide. Sessions are Wednesdays at 11:30 am beginning March 18, 2026, through May 27, 2026. Register for the sessions that fit your schedule and needs. These sessions will not be recorded.

We’ll explore how you can proactively identify, evaluate, and manage risks that impact small businesses. Upon completion, you’ll know how to:
- Identify the most common risks facing small businesses
- Pinpoint situations that can create or increase risk for a small business
- Detect common warning signs that may signal potential risks
