Event description
This is the fourth module for a series of modules. You have the option to pick and choose which modules to attend.
Only established small businesses in Maine may register, this is NOT for startup businesses.
About the Program:
SBA's Next Level CEO is an 8-week program designed to reignite your entrepreneurial spirit. Each module is an hour and a half in length. This hands-on program combines expert instruction, real-world application, and peer collaboration to help you take your business to the next level.
Pick and choose what modules you would like to attend by selecting the corresponding tickets on the registration page.
Each weekly module is designed to deliver practical tools you can immediately apply to your business.
All sessions are held on Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- April 23, 2026: Module 4: Preparing and Understanding Financial Statements Part I (Virtual)
- April 30, 2026: Module 5: Preparing and Understanding Financial Statements Part II - Examining Your Own Financial Statements (In-Person, Custom House 312 Fore St. Portland. Enter the Commercial Street Side.)
- May 7, 2026: Module 6: Lender Panel – Accessing Capital with Traditional and Non-Traditional Lenders (In-Person, Custom House 312 Fore St. Portland. Enter the Commercial Street Side.)
- May 14, 2026: Module 7: Finding New Revenue – Selling to the Government and Global Markets (In-Person, Custom House 312 Fore St. Portland. Enter the Commercial Street Side.)
- May 21, 2026: Module 8: Meet the Mentors and Advisors (In-Person, Custom House 312 Fore St. Portland. Enter the Commercial Street Side.)
Program Location & Format
The first four modules in this program will be held virtually.
The last four modules will be held in-person at the U.S. Custom House, 312 Fore St. Portland, ME 04101. Please enter on the Commercial Street side of the building.
Who Should Apply
This program is designed for established small business owners who are ready to grow intentionally.
Ideal applicants:
- have been in operation for 3 or more years
- are the owner(s) of the business
