If you have the entrepreneurial dream of starting a business or are a recent start-up and want to improve your chance of success, this is the workshop for you. This one-day, eight-hour workshop will help give you the information you need to start and run a new business or to improve your start-up business.

The workshop is sponsored and run by the Western New York Chapter of SCORE.
The 8 hour, all-day in-person session includes these topics:
• Planning your business
• Resources for small businesses
• Fundamentals of business financials
• Foundations of marketing
• Tax compliance
• Legal organization of your business
• Funding your small business
• Q&A with small business experts
The session will be held on Saturday, 24 May 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Julia Boyer Reinstein Library in Cheektowaga. Full fee is $75 but there are discounts for early bird registration ($55 fee expires on April 28), Military/Veteran ($45 fee), Senior ($45 fee), and Student ($40 fee).
