Event description

In this session hosted by the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Professor Canan Corus from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business will explore how sustainability is transforming modern marketing and why it has become essential for both large organizations and small businesses. The discussion will examine how environmental and social considerations shape consumer trust, brand positioning, and long-term growth opportunities. Particular attention will be given to how small businesses can leverage sustainability as a strategic advantage: building authentic connections with customers, differentiating in competitive markets, and creating value with limited resources. Participants will gain practical ideas for integrating sustainability into marketing efforts to drive behavior change and future-proof their brands.
