Moving into a commercial space whether you lease or buy is both an exciting and challenging time for businesses.

ALL businesses are required to obtain occupancy permits to begin operations and open their doors to serve. Businesses are part of the urban planning for the municipalities they are located in. This course is designed to be conversational and expose business owners to processes, timelines and some potential red flags to be on the lookout for before you commit to a contract. There is no one size fits all, there are many variables at play. We will review some considerations for leasing or purchasing and then share an overview on a variety of conditions businesses need to comply with from zoning, licensing, health, and safety.
