Event description
Join us for an informative Lunch & Learn on April 23, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 4970 City Hall Boulevard, Room 244, North Port, FL 34286, where Senior Business Consultant Brad Mix will walk you through the essentials of securing financing through SBA loan programs. Lunch will be provided.
Many entrepreneurs are surprised to learn that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) does not lend money directly to small business owners. Instead, the SBA reduces the risk for lenders, making it easier for small businesses to access capital. In this workshop, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how SBA-backed loans work and how to position your business for funding success.
Topics will include:
- Overview of 7(a) Loans, 504 Loans, and Microloans
- Lender and SBA loan program eligibility requirements
- How to prepare and plan your financing request
- What lenders look for when evaluating your application
If you are serious about securing financing to start or grow your business, this session will provide practical guidance to help you move forward with confidence.
⚠️ Seating is limited to 35 participants, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
