Growing Your Business Through Exporting

Event description

Join the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, U.S. Commercial Service, and Arkansas District Export Council for a practical session designed to help businesses expand their exporting or explore how exporting can support growth and new market opportunities.

This hybrid event will feature brief presentations from export ecosystem partners, including the U.S. Commercial Service, Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions, EXIM Bank, Arkansas District Export Council, international logistics experts, and experienced Arkansas exporters who will share insights on preparing for international markets and navigating the export process.

While the program will include a special emphasis on manufacturing, businesses from any industry interested in expanding through exporting are welcome.

Export Consultations

From 11 a.m. to noon, in-person attendees will have an opportunity to participate in one-on-one consultations with export support partners and presenters, including representatives from AEDC, ASBTDC, SBA, the Arkansas District Export Council, V. Alexander & Co./JAS Worldwide (shipping and freight-forwarding), and the World Trade Center Arkansas/Organization of Women in Trade. 

These sessions will allow businesses to ask questions and receive guidance on export readiness, financing, logistics, and market opportunities.

Export Boost Prize Drawing

As an added incentive for attending in person, the Arkansas District Export Council will hold a drawing for the Export Boost Prize, a U.S. Commercial Service Website Globalization Service valued at $100. To be eligible, participants must attend the in-person classroom event and be an existing operating business that currently exports.
