Event description

Hiring the right employee is one of the most important decisions any leader makes. Too often, hiring decisions rely on instinct or “gut feel,” rather than a clear understanding of the attributes and skills that actually drive success in the role.

This workshop will help participants identify the critical success factors for a position and design a hiring process that intentionally evaluates those qualities. Participants will explore creative ways to assess candidates during interviews so that hiring decisions are based on evidence rather than intuition.

The concepts apply across the spectrum—from entrepreneurs making their first hires, where early employees can shape the entire future of the company, to leaders in larger organizations responsible for hiring at scale. Participants will leave with practical tools for identifying key attributes, designing stronger interview questions and exercises, and selecting candidates who are most likely to succeed.
