Event description

The Office of Advocacy is an independent agency within SBA. The Advocate, and the ten Regional Advocates, are appointed by the President of the United States. The mission of the Office of Advocacy is to advance the views and concerns of small business before Congress, the White House, federal agencies, federal courts, and state policymakers. Listening sessions, like these, are an opportunity gain input from small businesses so that the Advocate can amplify the voice of small business owners in the regulatory space, and ultimately, to help agencies develop less burdensome regulations.
