Event description
Cybersecurity can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. This introductory session is designed specifically for small business owners who want to understand the fundamental pieces of a cyber program without needing a technical background.
In this workshop, we’ll break down the core building blocks of a small business cybersecurity plan, including:
- How to set up a basic, practical cyber program
- What you should be doing regularly to maintain it
- A beginner-friendly overview of incident response—what it is, why it matters, and the steps you should take if something goes wrong
This session provides the big-picture foundation that helps small business owners understand how more advanced cybersecurity topics and future classes fit into their overall protection strategy.
