Event description
This event is taking place during the U.S. Small Business Administration's National Small Business Week!
Financial projections don’t have to be intimidating. In this hands-on workshop, small business owners will learn how to break down their numbers, estimate future income and expenses, and better understand cash flow. Walk away with practical tools and a simple framework you can continue using to plan and grow your business.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand what financial projections are (and what they are not)
• Identify the three core financial statements used in projections
• Build a simple revenue and expense projection
• Use projections to support decisions, funding conversations, and growth planning
Outcome: Participants leave with a basic financial projection framework they can continue building after the workshop.
Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
