This event is in collaboration with the U.S. Census Bureau
Join the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Rhode Island District Office and the U.S. Census Bureau for an interactive workshop designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and business advisors eager to make smarter, data-driven business decisions.
Discover how to access and apply reliable U.S. Census Bureau data to:
- Understand local markets and industry trends
- Identify target areas based on consumer spending patterns
- Analyze workforce and location factors
- Strengthen business plans and funding proposals
Using Rhode Island–focused examples and guided demonstrations, participants will explore user-friendly Census tools such as data.census.gov and Census Business Builder, learning how to transform data into actionable insights.
The session will also include live demonstrations, an overview of SBA resources, and dedicated Q&A time with data and business experts.
