This is program is for Waterbury base businesses - Men and Women
This is your final opportunity to apply.
Waterbury Fast Track is a hands-on workshop series that helps small businesses apply confidently for the $10K Waterbury Municipal Grant. In five one-hour sessions, you’ll learn how to tell your business story, organize your documents, and create simple financial projections to apply for the grant!
You need to the following:
- Have been in business for at least one year (as of the date of your application submission) with a record of sales
- Have a record of annual sales/revenue in the last twelve months greater than $25,000 and less than $2,000,000
- Be registered in Connecticut
- Be located in Waterbury, Connecticut and have a zoning permit from the City of Waterbury
- Be in good standing with the CT Department of Revenue Services (DRS)
- Have an established business checking account
- Currently utilize a formal, digital bookkeeping/financial system (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, FreshBooks, Wave Accounting)
- Be a for profit business
- Be owned by a person that is at least 18 years old

To help you stay on track and submit a stronger application, we’re offering the final Waterbury Fast Track Series leading up to the June 15th deadline. In these sessions, we’ll focus on building your financial projections and statements, and strengthening your application through clear, persuasive writing and editing that speaks directly to decision-makers.
June Fast Track Series (Thursdays 1:00–3:00 PM)
- May 7 & May 14 – In Person (Waterbury Office)
- May 21, May 28 & June 4 – Zoom
Final Grant Deadline: June 15, 2026
Note: 2025 taxes will be required for this round
