If you have the entrepreneurial dream of starting a business or are a recent start-up and want to improve your chance of success, this is the workshop for you. This one-day, eight-hour workshop will help give you the information you need to start and run a new business or to improve your start-up business.

The 8 hour, all-day in-person session includes these topics:

• Resources for small businesses
• Fundamentals of business financials
• Foundations of marketing
• Tax compliance
• Legal organization of your business

The session will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Women’s Business Center at Canisius University, 1901 Main Street in Buffalo. Full fee is $75 but there are discounts for early bird registration ($55 fee expires on June 16), Military/Veteran ($45 fee), Senior ($45 fee), and Student ($40 fee)..
