Event description

The Event is Hosted by NASA Office of Small Business Programs

NASA OSBP Engagement 2026: L.I.F.T. is a forward-looking initiative that reinforces NASA’s commitment to strengthening the industrial base by cultivating small business participation and fostering strategic alliances with prime contractors and procurement officials. This engagement is designed to enhance supply chain resiliency by identifying and addressing critical gaps in space-related acquisitions, while expanding subcontracting opportunities across all small business categories.

Through a structured engagement, L.I.F.T. will connect small businesses with key decision-makers and industry leaders to ensure NASA’s mission needs are met through innovative, diverse, and capable suppliers. This collaboration will drive domestic capacity-building and reinforce a robust, competitive supplier base essential for advancing future technologies and sustaining U.S. leadership in space exploration. The format will allow for greater inclusivity and engagement, encouraging nationwide participation and cross-sector collaboration within the aerospace ecosystem.

Get ready to connect with NASA subject matter experts, prime contractors, explore cutting-edge innovations with AI Hub exhibitors, matchmaking sessions, and dynamic breakout discussions.

SBA Region VI - Deputy Regional Administrator Dr. Tre Pennie and SBA Houston District Director Mark Winchester will be participating in panel discussions throughout the day.  Also stop by the SBA Exhibit Table to visit with SBA Houston staff and learn how SBA programs help small businesses start, grow, and expand!
