Event description
Voice your concerns on the challenges of reporting requirements in Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act on conflict minerals.
SBA’s Office of Advocacy advances the views and concerns of small businesses before Congress, the White House, federal agencies, federal courts, and state policymakers.
Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act is a supply-chain transparency provision that requires publicly traded companies to disclose the use and origin of tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold in the companies' products. The SBA Great Plains Regional Advocate is holding this roundtable to hear directly from businesses about the impact of reporting and audit requirements and the burden they may be placing on small manufacturing businesses.
