Workers’ Compensation, Why It Matters (In Person)**
This training is designed to demystify the complexities of workers' compensation and will cover the basics of workers’ compensation, why it matters, how to navigate the process, and the rights of both employers and employees, along with additional available resources.
Join us on June 29, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with our guest presenter, Crystal Lobato, Ombudsman, Farmington Field Office Manager, NM Workers’ Compensation Administration
Crystal Lobato has proudly worked for the State of New Mexico for the past 17 years and has had the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families through the administration of public assistance programs, helping connect people with resources and support during difficult times. For the past six months, Crystal has worked with the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration as an Ombudsman, where she helps injured workers, employers, and insurance representatives better understand and navigate the workers’ compensation process. Crystal enjoys helping people find answers, understand their rights and responsibilities, and feel more comfortable navigating the system.
This training is open to anyone who wants to learn about their roles, rights, and responsibilities with Workman's Compensation
