A layoff can feel like a full stop, but it is often the perfect place to pivot. If you are ready to transition from job seeker to job creator, this interactive workshop is your roadmap. Designed specifically for professionals displaced from federal and private-sector roles, this session will help you channel your existing expertise into a brand-new venture.

Whether you want to launch a freelance gig, build a profitable startup, or found a mission-driven nonprofit, you will learn how to evaluate your ideas and take your first concrete steps. You do not have to build alone. A core focus of this session is community; you will connect deeply with peers to form lasting personal support groups that keep you motivated long after the workshop ends.
