Description

This project consists of the replacement of two (2) rooftop packaged HVAC units located at the 1535 Student Union Building. One of the existing units is currently inoperable due to a refrigerant leak in the R-22 system, and both units have exceeded their expected service life and are no longer economically repairable.

The project will include the removal and replacement of the existing HVAC units with new packaged rooftop units meeting the minimum energy efficiency requirements outlined in the attached equipment specification document.

The new units shall be installed in the same locations on the existing concrete equipment pads.
If concrete pad extensions are required, the contractor shall be responsible for field verification,
measurements, and installation of the extensions.
