Description
This project consists of correcting life safety deficiencies related to door hardware, means of egress, and fire-rated construction assemblies. Existing conditions include doors that do not provide code-compliant egress, missing panic hardware, a dead-end corridor condition, and non-fire-rated attic access panels installed within fire-resistance-rated assemblies. This project will provide code-compliant panic hardware, improve means of egress, and install UL-listed fire-rated attic access panels to restore compliance with NFPA 101 requirements.
