Full Time Center Mental Health Consultant

The center mental health consultant (CMHC) agrees to provide students of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center, operated by Management & Training Corporation (MTC) referred henceforth as the center, with the services stated herein.
The emphasis of the Mental Health and Wellness Program must be on prevention, early detection, identification of mental health problems, and helping students overcome barriers to employability. The program utilizes an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) approach, which
includes short-term counseling with an employability focus, referral to center support groups, and crisis intervention. The CMHC is part of the Health and Wellness team and collaborates closely with the Health and Wellness Director (HWD), Counseling Manager, TEAP specialist, Disability Coordinators, and the Center Physician.
Schedule: Provider must be able to meet the center’s schedule as outlined below:
Monday: 8-5pm (CST), Tuesday: 8-5pm (CST), Wednesday: 8-5pm (CST), and Thursday 8-5pm (CST), Friday 8-5pm (CST) (40 hours per week). Any other schedule not listed above will be reviewed and/or approved by the center management.
