Old City of Santa Cruz Dam Removal BrC4

The goal of the project is to remove an existing dam on Branciforte Creek in Santa Cruz, California.
The dam presents a fish passage barrier to migrating steelhead and coho salmon and the project seeks to improve passage conditions while maintaining beneficial habitat features at the site.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled on May 8, 2026 at 11:00 am located at 3875 Branciforte Drive, Santa Cruz CA 95065. Bids will not be considered from Contactors who are not represented at the meeting.

Sealed bids are due at the office of the RCDSCC located at 2425 Porter Street, Suite 19, Soquel, CA 95073 by 2:00pm on May 28, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
