Pipeline Student Dorm, Goodfellow AFB, Texas

This project involves the construction of a 3 story, 6th Generation Learning Environment
technical training (TT) student dormitory and recreation pavilion to house 400 students
IAW the 2023 Dormitory Master Plan (DMP). The building will be constructed with a
structural steel frame with brick veneer facade, standing seam metal roof and pile
foundation. The building will provide spaces for bedrooms and bathrooms,
administrative and administrative support space, training rooms, storage, break areas,
laundry, and janitor’s closets. Building information systems, fire protection and alarm
systems and energy control monitoring systems are included. Sustainability and energy
enhancement measures are included. Recreation pavilion will be constructed with a
structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof and slab on grade foundation. The
structure will provide space for large gatherings for training and instructor led physical
fitness activities. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections,
lighting, paving, parking, sidewalks, troop walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage,
information systems, landscaping, and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be
provided by self-contained system.
