Roadway Construction at Kelbaker, Kelso-Cima, Cima and Morning Star Mine Roads CA NP MOJA 11(2) 10(2)
Description
The Kelso-Cima and South Kelbaker Road improvements consist of full depth reclamation of the existing pavement with placement of new asphalt pavement, increasing the roadway width to a consistent 26 feet, minor horizontal/vertical roadway realignment (reconstruction) in select areas, reinforcing 48 low water crossings (11 on South Kelbaker Road and 37 on Kelso-Cima Road), and improving safety with longitudinal and transverse mumble strips, signing, pavement markings, and paved pullouts. Low water crossings typically consist of buried concrete barriers with riprap revetment.
The Morningstar Mine Road improvements consist of full depth reclamation of the existing pavement and placement of surface-course aggregate. Work also includes realignment of Kelso-Cima Road at the Cima Road/Morningstar Mine Road intersection.
Seeking subs for: Striping, Traffic Control, Storm Water Prevention. All subcontractors will be required to provide a bond.
