Roya Maher of A3L Federal Works utilizes the Economic Injury Disaster Loan(EIDL) Advance and Payroll Protection Program (PPP) to help her through the current uncertainty of the economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maher attended one of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s West Virginia District Office COVID-19 Relief for Small Business trainings and equipped herself with the knowledge she needed to apply for the EIDL Advance and the PPP.

Following the training Maher worked with her accountant and lender, Clear Mountain Bank, and was able to get the PPP in eight business days. “The process was easy and straightforward because I knew what I was doing from the training,” noted Maher. “I can’t rave enough about the assistance I receive from SBA’s West Virginia District Office, they are always there to assist me when I need it.”

Because of the EIDL Advance and PPP Maher is confident she can navigate the storm and keep her 14 employees on payroll during the current health crisis.
