A young entreprenuer starts his company at 15

Griffin Thomas started Top Line Landscaping at the young age of 15. His entrepreneurial mindset from a young age has pushed his business to grow and expand since 2015. Today the business has seen a 25% annual sales growth since 2023 and currently employs over 30 people. His services include full-service lawn care and landscaping that builds stunning outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients from east Alabama throughout west Georgia.

Thomas and his business are clients of the UGA Small Business Development Center at University of West Georgia and together have worked on several issues including creating a team member handbook and business budgeting for growth as the business continues to grow. In early 2025, Thomas and the team at the UGA SBDC at University of West Georgia worked on financial projections to secure financing for a new 5,000 square business facility to allow the business to continue its growth in the coming years.

With his business success, Thomas has been a major light and presence throughout his community. He gives back by helping to sponsor high school sport teams. Thomas has used his success in his business to better his own community.
