Silver Lining Solutions Expands Operations from Topsfield to Southern New Hampshire
Founder Darcia Tremblay Helps Families Navigate the Complexities of Medicaid Long-Term Care
Silver Lining Solutions serves as a vital intermediary between families, nursing homes, and state Medicaid offices – relieving clients from the burden of navigating the complicated Medicaid application process for long-term care coverage.
“When most families reach out to us, they’re in crisis,” says President and Founder Darcia Tremblay. “Their loved ones require nursing home care, which can cost between $15,000 and $20,000 per month, and they simply don’t know where to start with Medicaid. That’s where we step in.”
A woman-owned business with an all-female staff, Silver Lining Solutions was founded in 2016 from Tremblay’s dining room table, following her years of experience processing long-term care applications. Her goal: to provide families with deeply personalized support during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Expansion and philanthropy after enduring losses
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company endured income losses due to the crisis and received a forgivable Paycheck Protection Program loan to sustain operations. Since then, the company has experienced steady and strategic growth.
In 2018, Tremblay moved the business into an 1,800-square-foot office. As demand continued to increase, Silver Lining Solutions expanded into a 3,600-square-foot facility with three conference rooms and seven private offices. Now, the company is preparing to add two more offices within its current headquarters to accommodate additional staff and open a second location in Southern New Hampshire in 2025.
Beyond her entrepreneurial achievements, Darcia Tremblay is a dedicated community leader and philanthropist. She serves on the Managing Board of Directors for the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in its Thrive initiative, supporting women in business. She also mentors young professionals through the Chamber’s Emerging Leaders program.
Tremblay’s community engagement extends even further. She volunteers her time as a Massachusetts high school DECA judge and provides meaningful financial support to senior-focused organizations including AgeSpan, Care Dimensions, and SeniorCare Inc.
