Heather is recognized for her innovative leadership and unwavering dedication to helping others find their voice.

Since launching the practice in 2017, Heather grew her business from a sole-practitioner operation serving a handful of schools into a thriving, woman-owned enterprise employing 25 professionals. Gray Consulting and Therapy now supports more than 1,500 students and adults across more than 190 schools and organizations throughout New England offering cutting edge services and professional development in the areas of assistive technology augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), vision, as well as occupational and speech-language therapy.

Today, Gray Consulting and Therapy continues to expand its reach, empowering lasting access and success through collaboration, services, and training, while creating an interactive community that values individuals.

Heather’s impact extends well beyond financial success. She demonstrated a deep and consistent commitment to community service by donating professional services to individuals without access to funding, supporting charitable causes such as Toys for Tots, community food pantries, and the Rehabilitation Equipment Marketplace’s switch-adapted toy drive and contributing her expertise through presentations and training for organizations including New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation and the New Hampshire. Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also volunteers her time nationally through participation in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programming, mentoring and supporting fellow entrepreneurs.

Throughout her entrepreneurial journey, Heather actively engaged with SBA-supported resources with a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan. Through ongoing counseling with business advisor Amy Sterndale at the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, Heather demonstrates a commitment to management best practices and continuous improvement.

“Heather Gray represents the very best of woman-owned small businesses: innovative, financially strong, community-minded, and purpose-driven,“ said Amy Sterndale, business advisor SBDC.

Under Heather’s leadership, Gray Consulting and Therapy achieved sustained and impressive financial growth while maintaining profitability and reinvesting strategically in people, space, and specialized resources. In 2025, the company opened a new 3,000-square-foot headquarters in Londonderry—representing a 350% increase in space—allowing for expanded clinical services, professional training, and innovative offerings such as adaptive gaming and assistive technology evaluations.
