SBA Administrator Guzman Announces National Small Business Week Winners in Exporting, Small Business Investment, and Government Contracting

WASHINGTON – Today, Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the voice for America’s 32.5 million small businesses in President Biden’s Cabinet, announced the National Small Business Week award winners in the categories of Small Business Investment Company of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, and the Top Federal Contractors of the Year.

“These entrepreneurs have made significant impacts on their industries and our nation, advancing innovative solutions to global challenges, securing capital to help their firms thrive, or finding creative solutions to strengthen America’s supply chains,” said Administrator Guzman, “Their grit, ingenuity, and spirit of service are a powerful example of what the American people can achieve when we invest in entrepreneurs and small business owners from all walks of life and come together to build a better America through entrepreneurship.”

The winners in each category will be recognized during the National Small Business Week (NSBW) virtual Awards Ceremony event on May 5, 2022.

Guzman added, “I want to thank my leadership team Bibi Hildago, Associate Administrator for the Office of Government Contracting and Business DevelopmentBailey DeVries, Associate Administrator for the Office of Investment and Innovation;  and Gabriel Esparza, Associate Administrator for the Office of International Trade, for working with these small businesses to secure funding for expansion and counseling needs, as well as their thoughtful leadership and service to help position our small business ecosystems  to excel in these highly competitive marketplaces.”
